Hello,
Here is a map with all the participating locations with short descriptions of what they will offer on the 28th and 29th –

For more information on the Tall Ships, etc. you can visit www.essexconnect.ca
Thank you for your interest!
Some additional tall ship experience cruises will be added to www.ESSEXCONNECT.ca shortly. Watch for updates on the web site as they sell out very fast.
There is also a week long youth sail training program for those 11 – 17 years old. This character and skill building program is $695 all inclusive for the week (price on essexconnect is wrong). I suggest taking one of the “Tall Ships Public Cruises” with your son, daughter and family to get a taste of how fun it is to be on board!
I’m a vendor, DIANE’S CANDLES & GIFTS, would like to set up a tent along the route somewhere if it’a available, have a tent all outdoor supplies
Hey Diane ….PAWSITIVELY A DOG THING WOULD LIKE TO SET UP TOO…let me know what you find out
Hi:
Join this excellent event. A fun day along the north shore of Lake Erie. The Southcoast Writer’s group will be selling the books they wrote. They have a huge sellection from local history books, adventures, children’s stories. human interest and much more. The group consists of Windsor and Essex County region writers. Support your local authors.
A new book: Tour County Road #50 will be launched that weekend with the author and publisher in attendance. The Southcoast writers will be located at LaRoos Masion 309 Martin Lane west of Colchester Village.

Are you aware as to how many people come out for Explore the Shore?
Hello Lisa,
At last year’s event there were between 4000 and 5000 people who attended.
Can you tell me if you have set a date for 2012? I would like to add this to my 2012 Town Planner Community Calender the will be delivered FREE of charge to the communities in Essex County.
The dates for 2012 are July 28th and 29th. Thanks for your interest!
To Paul.
I was driving by Valente Travel at the corner of Shephard and Ouellette Ave, they were advertising a bus tour. Maybe one tomorrow? Worth a try.
Hi my name is Marko Boskovic i operate a small mural and graffiti removal company i also do a lot of fine arts and paintings . I was notified of your event by George Palmer from the St.Leonards house he told me about a woman named Shery who is in charge of the art event that is happening in Clitherow St. I have not been able to get a hold of but I would like to participate in this event with some of my pieces i can attract a lot of attention and bring a very interesting edge with the different variety’s of art i have. is there a bus tour available? We do not want to drink and drive
Hi Paul,
We don’t have a hop on tour this year but I have left some messages as some of the area transportation companies might be planning something special on their own. As soon as I hear back I will let you know!
The Trolley will be running a specific wine tour. They say that they may have room for 2 more people. Please call them at (519) 738-2224 for more details. Alternatives are limo companies but we don’t have anyone specific that we are working with. Good luck!
